Wander along the Amalfi Coast and you’ll see the most beautiful sunsets. This one, we saw as we walked along the coastline on our way to dinner.

While my son ran the Path of the Gods, (Bomerano to Posetano) I walked and photographed the lovely town of Bomerano, captured here in oils. Oils here along the Amalfi Coast are breathtaking.

Our Amalfi Coast family vacation included staying in a villa that overlooked the harbor. While there, I painted, hiked, ate, and sailed the coast.

Walk any distance in Flroence, and you see the iconic Domo, which seems to stretch to the horizon. The Domo is a major architectural masterpiece of much beauty and has hundreds of years of history.

Imagine yourself basking in the Mediterranean sun, lounging by the sea. That is how I spent my time as I found myself there on vacation with family before returning home to paint this scene.

The combination of the azure and aquamarine waters of the Mediterranean has become special to me as I reflect upon my visit to Capri late last summer. When returning home while painting this scene, I felt I was still there, standing on the beach.

While walking in the rain in San Gimignano, Italy, I was inspired by the local tourists and pedestrians who did not want to miss this historic medieval city on a hill.
