The Maasai is home to this magnificent male elephant. He was viewed in the African bush. We gave him plenty of leeway as he walked down the road and we pulled off to the side. He walked past us and continued on his journey.

This Maasai Big Cat is a big five. He is powerful, and his presiding presence was viewed with his harem of eight. They devoured a water buck in full view. We kept our distance and photographed it as we could.

This magnificent scene of African Elephants grazing in the sun was seen in Amboseli National Park. Snowcapped Kilimanjaro.

My daughter and I viewed this herd of African Elephants walking in front of Kilimanjaro. This is a sunset scene. The elephants were returning for the evening.

With good rains in Kenya, Amboseli National Park is green and beautiful. Here is an Elephant travelling in front of Kilimanjaro. An Acacia tree is also depicted. The Acacia is an iconic symbol of the African Savannah. It is known for it’s resilience and adaptability. I enjoyed depicting this scene in oil.

This Black Rhino was seen by my daughter and myself in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Later I painted it in oil.
