African Lions are one of the most beloved animals in the world. They are a vulnerable and endangered species. Unfortunately, due to poachers, trophy hunters, and reduction of wildlife habitat, these lions are disappearing at an alarming rate. For this reason, I photographed these sisters and painted them in my home studio. They were seen at the Washington Zoo.

While strolling the Tidal Basin during the Cherry Blossom Festival, I spotted this Red Umbrella amongst all the many water taxis and was inspired to paint it.

This late fall viewing of deer grazing along the skyline drive inspired me to capture their beauty in the peaceful calm of Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park.

I saw this Lighthouse while visiting and hiking Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Embrace the beauty of the Piedmont region while walking Sky Meadows State Park. I was inspired to paint this couple walking down the mountainside on one of my many hikes. The fall golds and emeralds were reflected in the rolling countryside. The air was crisp and the breezes calm.

During a walk down Bright Angel Trail, I viewed the splendor of the grand canyon, and was inspired to paint it.
